Meet Sara – Secondary Maths and ScienceTutor

Sara is a highly experienced and fully qualified teacher, holding an MA in Education Leadership & Management and an MSc in Physics, alongside a BSc in Mathematics. With over 15 years in the classroom — across the UK and internationally — she has taught Maths and Science at every level from KS3 through to GCSE, A-Level, IGCSE, AP and IB, consistently achieving outstanding results including high A* rates.

 Sara's strength is in making complex topics feel manageable. She quickly identifies where a student is struggling, addresses the root cause rather than the surface symptom, and builds understanding step by step — so that students stop guessing and start knowing. Her lessons are structured, purposeful, and adapted to the individual, with clear explanations, targeted practice, and regular progress checks built in throughout.

 Currently working as a STEM Coordinator and Lead Teacher, Sara works with students across a wide range of abilities and needs every day. She holds a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability and Autism Level 2 Training, meaning she is highly experienced in supporting students who need extra patience, differentiation, or a different approach to learning — without ever making them feel behind.
